With the success of the Twilight novels a spotlight has been shone on LDS Romantic fiction. It is so named as it is either written Mormons or deals with Mormon themes (LDS stand for Latter Day Saints). The romantic subgenre is a new form, which covers many styles from Historic romance, modern love, to fantasy and paranormal romance. As it deals with moral topics it is a great place to start if you want a little old fashioned romance in you stories.

Ties That Bind by Rachel Ann Nunes


This is the second novel about the character Rebekka Massoni. In this novel she finds herself at last with her fiancĂ© Marc Perrault. But there is a dark cloud hanging over him as he is deeply unwell. Rebekka knows that their love is for eternity, but she is being pushed away by Marc who tells her that she has a life to live beyond their love, and that the sooner she leaves the better for her. She turns to his brother for advice, but he only repeats his brother’s wishes. A moving story which delves into the idea of eternal love. Rachel Ann Nunes is a prolific author, who writes a wide range of styles. Her romantic novels are full of emotion and trials. Many readers have expressed their appreciation of her style and follow her faithfully. This is part of the Ariana series, and the second book in the Rebekka books the first of which is “This time forever,” which can be read as a stand-alone book.
