Lia Carswell has escaped her artistic life in New York and
thinks she’s settled into life as a waitress in a Salt Lake City diner. Hoping
to help out her financially strapped sister, she attracts the attention of many
eligible bachelors who enter the diner. But fate has a way of intruding in and
she is commissioned to paint a series of paintings which would help gain the
financial security of her family. Is she willing to let her old life in or make
a new life her in Salt Lake City. Taking on her final project she finds part of
what she’s lost, and opens the door to a new life. Melanie Jacobson writes
romantic comedies in LDS romance for Covenant Books and is known for the witty
dialogue of her characters. This is a
departure from her more light-hearted books and as it deals with issue of a person’s
past catching up with them.
